The Guns of Anglesea Barracks - Hobart Tasmania

Anglesea Barracks, in Hobart, is the oldest Australian Army barracks in continuous use, with construction beginning in 1814. Within its grounds is a notable collection of historic cannon and artillery, dating from 1840 to 1970, including guns of the Blomefield Pattern and pieces linked to the Southern Tasmanian Volunteer Artillery, which manned Hobart's coastal defences from 1858 to 1903.
