Edward Markham's journal of his 1833 voyage to Van Diemen's Land, along with six historical essays covering the colonial times of Governor Collins, Governor Davey, Governor Sorell, Governor Arthur, Mrs JF Irvine's memories of Port Arthur and the "blacks", and smuggler Lieut Jeffreys RN.

This is an OUT-OF-PRINT book; it is in USED but generally good condition for its age with tanned pages and some marks and wear to cover; back cover has a small blue ink stain and a nick in the edge. Previous owner's name written in the front.
