Ash Tuesday - Tasmanian children's story book, signed [Ages 6-10]

A vintage illustrated children's story of the devastation of bushfire in Tasmania, published the year after the state's real "Black Tuesday" bushfires of February 1967 — the disaster that killed 62 people and destroyed nearly 1,300 homes across southern Tasmania. Written by award-winning Tasmanian children's author Joan Woodberry AM, with illustrations by noted Tasmanian watercolourist Max Angus. Signed by the author.

Note that although this is a book for children, the contents are somewhat harrowing.
