In 1972, Tasmanian John Woodroffe was struck down in Oxford St, London by a woman falling from a fifth-floor window. He survived this seemingly freak accident, and five decades later attempted to solve the mystery of the woman involved.

Signed by the author with an inscription to the previous owner.
