At 311 pages with indexed content and illustrated with reproductions of the original cartoons throughout, this is the only comprehensive study of Mr Punch in Tasmania and its place in the history of Tasmanian press, satire and political culture.
Published by Blubber Head Press, Hobart in 1980. This copy is a presentation copy signed by Dan Sprod as publisher, with an inscription to the previous owner.
