The Gatenby Saga is the story of Andrew Gatenby who emigrated from Wales in the 1820s and settled in Tasmania's Midlands district, establishing the successful farm Barton, building the Pennyroyal Mill, never regretting he made the move to other side of the world.

Gatenby's early interactions with the first inhabitants of the land, encounters with bushrangers and with thylacines, are recounted in detail from almost one hundred years of diaries, letters and documents drawn from a unique family archive.

This is an OUT-OF-PRINT book; it is in USED but generally very good condition and has been signed by both authors with an inscription to the previous owner.
