The Tasmanian Exhibition was staged over four months at Launceston's Albert Hall in the summer of 1891/92. Over that period more than 1000 season ticket holders had their images recorded on camera. This book arises from the Launceston Family Album project which celebrated the exhibition in two ways - telling the story of the event itself in words and images from the time, and secondly exploring the lives and family histories of over a thousand attendees who were photographed as part of the exhibition.
