Small Ships That Shaped My Life - Bern Cuthbertson's Signed Maritime Memoir - Derwent Hunter, Admiral, Weeruna

Bern Cuthbertson's signed memoir traces seventy years on the water in Tasmania, from his early days at Barnes Bay and aboard the Weeruna, through vessels including Dorrie, Kestrel, Astor, Flying Pride, Pacific Cloud, Flying Scud and Flying Cloud.

Later chapters follow his years skippering the 72-foot schooner Derwent Hunter fishing for blue-eye trevalla, his work aboard Tarkarni and Tasmanian Enterprise, and his part in Tasmania's maritime heritage, including the restoration of the historic waterman's boat Admiral - now on display at the Bass and Flinders Maritime Museum in George Town. The book closes with a glossary, the author's own nautical counsel, and a map of Tasmania.
