Alison Alexander's history of the O'Connor family of Connorville — one of the great pastoral families of the Tasmanian Midlands, and pioneers of the fine wool industry that brought Tasmania international recognition. Roderic O'Connor arrived in Van Diemen's Land from Ireland in 1824 and with his young sons built a pastoral empire centred on Connorville near Cressy.
