Great Properties of Tasmania explores the histories of the families who have lived on these rural estates and describes the farming practices that today's generations employ. Many properties are owned by 6th- and 7th-generation farmers, and most continue to run sheep and cattle, while others are involved in different markets such as whisky and gin distilling, wine-making, growing poppies, fruit and vegetables.
