Callaghan & Batman considers the historical police evidence as to whether convict woman Eliza Callaghan was hidden by John Batman at Ben Lomond in Van Diemen's Land in 1825. The book also includes the evidence given at Eliza Callaghan's Old Bailey trial, and additionally the statements made at the inquest which followed her murder in Geelong, Victoria in 1852.
