A small book documenting the historical journey along the Midland Highway between Launceston and Hobart — including the experience of Anthony Trollope, who travelled the route by coach through Campbell Town during his visit to Tasmania in January 1872, part of his thirteen-month tour of Australia and New Zealand. Campbell Town was itself one of the road's historic coach stops — Foxhunters Return, where this bookshop sits today, was a working coaching inn on this very route.
