Max Angus's watercolour record of the original Lake Pedder, painted from memory and earlier sketches after the lake was flooded by the Hydro-Electric Commission in 1972 — making these among the very few artistic records of what was lost. Angus, also author and illustrator of several other Tasmanian titles in our stock (see Related Products), was a leading Tasmanian watercolourist of his generation.
