Volumes I & II of Louisa Anne Meredith's illustrated memoir of her time in early Tasmania - My Home in Tasmania During a Residence of Nine Years - an original edition published in London, 1852.

This is an antiquarian set of books; they are in old, used and worn condition and could do with some repair. The covers are worn - volume one has some moisture damage along the bottom of the front cover. There are the remnants of a previous owner's bookplate (1893) and a small bookseller's sticker pasted inside the front cover of volume one. Both volumes have the details of a recent owner written in the front. Some of the page sections / signatures in volume two are totally loose.
