A local Tasmanian history of Lymington in southern Tasmania.

From being a probation station for convicts in 1845, Lymington quickly became a destination for pioneering settlers in southern Tasmania, felling timber, orcharding and farming. This eventually led to a thriving community that once had three churches, two schools, one shop and various sports teams.
