The foreword is by David Scholes — Tasmania's most celebrated fly fishing writer and author of Fly-Fisher in Tasmania, The Enchanting Break O'Day and other titles. Scholes's involvement gives this book a direct connection to the tradition of Tasmanian fly fishing writing that stretches from the Shannon Rise era through to the present day.

Published in 2004 by Michael Stevens of Stevens Publishing, Launceston, in a limited edition of 150 numbered copies. This is number 37 of 150.

At 212 pages with an index, this is a personal and readable memoir of a life spent fishing the highland waters of Tasmania.

Out of print since publication. Copies of this limited edition are rarely found.
