William Charles Piguenit (1836-1914) was the first Australian -born professional landscape painter and the first Tasmanian-born artist. Piguenit's artistic output spanned a period of activity and development from the late 1860s to the beginning of the 20th century.
The Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery's senior curator of art, Sue Backhouse, has researched Pigunenit's body of work in the TMAG's collection to produce this detailed, beautifully illustrated book.
This is a USED book; it is in generally very good condition with just a little light wear. Please contact the bookshop, Just Tassie Books at The Book Cellar, if you require additional detailed photos and description of condition before purchasing.
