This hiking guide describes 31 walks that range from half to 2.5 hours in length in the southern half of Tasmania. Bush walks range from Bicheno on the east coast, Maria Island, Bruny Island, south to Cockle Creek and west across the Lyell Highway to Strahan. Most of the walks are easy but display the full range of Tasmania scenery including waterfalls, along sandy beaches, to wave swept islands, coastal cliffs, alpine lakes, lookouts and a wide variety of forest.
