Memories of Seasons Past – 60 Years of Gardening by the Tamar River | Paula Guy | 2012 | Signed [USED – HCDJ – Very Good]

Paula Guy's memoir of sixty years gardening beside the Tamar River in Launceston.

Born in Melbourne in 1921, Paula worked for the RAAF in her early twenties and during WWII served as a mechanic on aircraft including Catalina flying boats. In 1944 she married a Tasmanian journalist serving in the AIF. After the war they settled in Launceston, where they built a home on the Tamar River and began the first of the gardens this memoir describes.
