Colonial correspondence of Christian Taylor Buist who lived at Pituncarty on the Macquarie River in Tasmania's Midlands, including letters from Ellinthorpe (sic) Hall, telling much of the local Taylor family history. Letters to Christian give a glimpse of her family's life, including her brothers Robert Taylor (Valleyfield), David Taylor (Winton), John Taylor (St Johnstone), and sisters Mary Davidson (Glen Moray, Cassieford), Jean Alston (Auchlochan) and Isabella Hutcheson (Runnymede Station).
