A bountiful collection of photographs, stories and recipes from the joy of living on Bruny Island, Tasmania - one of Australia's most compact, diverse and interesting food destinations.
While the seaward side of Bruny Island features two long beaches - Adventure Bay and Cloudy Bay - it is for the most part extremely rugged, with cliffs of dolerite that are over 200m above sea level. Bruny's channel side is far more sheltered and a favourite fishing and recreational boating area for local and interstate visitors.
