Australian Corriedale Century 1882-1982 - origins & development of the Corriedale sheep breed, from NSW's Western Plains to Tasmania's Central Highlands | Andrew Nicolson | 1983 [USED – HCDJ]

Australian Corriedale Century 1882–1982 traces the origins and development of the Corriedale sheep breed in Australia, from magnificent stud flocks developed across the Western Plains of New South Wales to Tasmania's Central Highlands. Andrew Nicolson's own grandfather and great-uncle were among the breed's earliest registered stud owners and personally knew the foundation breeders, giving him firsthand access to information otherwise unavailable elsewhere. Covers the breed's early history, Volume One of the Flock Book, the founding of the Australian Corriedale Society, show ring experiences, pioneer and notable breeders and studs, exports, industry conferences, and commercial Corriedale breeding through to 1982.
