Flanagan examines the environmental impacts of open-net pen salmon farming in Tasmanian waters — the effect on wild fish populations and marine ecosystems, the use of chemicals and dyes, the treatment of seals and other marine wildlife, and the political relationships that have allowed the industry to operate with limited oversight.
